There are over 70 surviving castle sites in Northumberland – more than in any other English county. There are even more if you include minor fortifications such as pele towers, bastles and suchlike.
In the interests of cost this book is printed on both standard colour paper and additionally on premium colour paper. This has been necessary due to the length of the book, the number of colour photos etc., and has enabled me to keep the retail price of the book down to £12.95 for the standard and £21.95 for the premium.
